Family Concert with Grammy Nominated Alastair Moock

 Alastair Moock Family Concert, Saturday,
March 8th from 2-3 pm

Need a fun family break from the cold of winter?  Get the
whole family out for some musical fun on Saturday, March 8 at 2 pm for a Family
Concert with Alastair Moock, two-time NAPPA Gold Award Winner and a Parents’
Choice Award Winner.

“Roots Rocker, Alastair Moock is a two-time NAPPA Gold Award
Winner and a Parents’ Choice Award Winner.  Long one of Boston’s premier
folk artists, he turned his attention to family music after the birth of
his twin girls in 2006. The Boston Globe calls him "a Tom
Waits for your tots" and Time Out New York (Best Kids
Albums of 2011)
calls him "a musical descendant of Woody Guthrie [who]
refreshes the classic brand of acoustic folk with a zany sense of humor."
Alastair Moock and Friends’ live shows are rowdy, rootsy, singin’ and dancin’
fun for the whole family! Alastair’s latest project,  Singing Our Way
Through /  Songs For The World’s Bravest Kids
was to create an album
that could be used as a free resource for patients and pediatric oncology
programs around the country helping kids and families “own” their experience of
illness.  Featured on Katie Couric, Good Morning America, All
Things Considered and the cover story of The Boston Globe Magazine.”
The CD was one of five Grammy finalists for Best Children's CD of the
year!
