Meditation is the practice of going within, to gain better control over your thoughts, emotions and reactions.
Research suggests that meditation increases focus and decreases stress. In addition,
studies show that with just eight weeks of daily meditation, the part of the brain associated with stress physically gets smaller, while the part of the brain associated with compassion and self-awareness literally gets bigger.
Join us for our first Meditation session of the year. Enjoy the healing atmosphere and the benefits of meditating in a group. In this one-hour workshop:
• You will be guided through meditations of different types and lengths.
• The class will provide you with techniques keeping your energy centers clear and balanced.
• The class will teach you how to apply the concepts behind meditation to every day life, assisting you in achieving greater happiness, serenity, and balance.
• Complementary Reiki aura sessions (optional).
You will leave feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and uplifted.
Each session is unique. Appropriate for all experience levels. Beginners welcome.
