Ever Felt Like Your Life’s a Comic Book?

Author Phoebe Potts lives in Gloucester and is working on her second graphic memoir. She will be speaking at the Beebe Library on Thursday, January 31 at 7 p.m. and invites you to come and be amazed at how the narrative of your life, from the everyday details to the monumental failures and fleeting joys, can be transposed into tiny little pictures.

Phoebe Potts will share work from her graphic novel Good Eggs, a comic book memoir about trying to have a baby, and her work in progress Too Fat For China about the adoption process. Reserve your seat for this program

Graphic novels are not just your father’s comic books anymore, and they’re certainly not just for kids. Think of any subject worth writing a book about – romance, biography, war stories, true crime, sci-fi, fantasy, non-fiction – and you’ll find a graphic novel or book on the subject.
