Electronics and White Goods Recycling at Walton School

In honor of America Recycles Day, the Walton PTO will be
holding its biannual electronics and white goods recycling event this Saturday
and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Walton School parking lot off of
Davidson Road.  Large appliances, also known
as white goods, will be accepted for $5.00 each - that's $15 cheaper than the
town charges for disposal. TVs will be accepted at a rate of $0.55/pound. For smaller TVs that can mean savings
over the $20 town fee. Monitors are a flat rate of $15.00/each. Proceeds from the event go to fund PTO sponsored
activities.
