Boston Chapter of the American Sewing Guild

The Boston Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is holding a chapter meeting on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Wakefield. Everyone is welcome!

There will be a brief business meeting followed by a Breast Cancer Awareness event. There is no charge to attend but attendees are encouraged to bring non perishable food items to donate to the church's food pantry for families & individuals in need.

Chapter member, Katharine Carter, MD will share currnet news topics in breast health, while 'Pauling the Bra Lady" will be doing bra fittings in a completely private setting for those that wish to participate.

The chapter is currently involved in the Toys For Tots, Twirls For Girls charity making clothes for 18 inch dolls available at Michael's & AC Moore. Attendees that bring a doll to donate will have any purchased bra discounted by $5. Please visit billericatwirls.com for more information on how you can help.

Before we adjourn, there will be a fun "Sew & Tell" of bras that members have decorated for Breast Cancer Awreness month. Should be a great time for all. Hope to see you there!
