Annual Carved Pumpkin Display

The Annual Carved Pumpkin display will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2013 starting 6 p.m. on the steps of the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library, 345 Main Street, Wakefield, MA. Carved pumpkins created by Wakefield High School art students and Art Club members will be featured in what has become a much anticipated annual Halloween event. Stop by on Thursday night to get into the spirit of Halloween and join in the town-wide “Fright Night” festivities. Students will light the candles shortly before 6 p.m. Anyone who is interested in taking part in this event can bring his or her own carved pumpkin to add to the display. Kids are also invited to 'trick or treat" at the library's public desks.
