This Friday, Oct. 12, the Beebe Library and Mass In Motion present some fun active video games such as WiiFit, WiiSports and Dance Dance Revolution. Bring the family to the Beebe Library Friday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Click here to learn more about Mass. In Motion and its various fitness-themed activities in Wakefield and Melrose.

Town Business: Among this week’s town board meetings are a planning board meeting tonight at 7 p.m. at town hall, and a selectmen’s meeting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Wakefield Cable Access TV Studio.

Haunted Evening: On Thursday, October 18th at Harrington’s Restaurant, it’s a Haunted Evening benefit for the Beebe Library. Join host Gary Manley of Radio NightFall and other members of NightFall Paranormal for a presentation on their experiences as paranormal investigators. The program begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at Holiday Travel and at WakefieldRotaryClub.org, or $15 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the library. Event hosted by Wakefield Rotary Club.
