Good morning. Here are some things worth knowing in Wakefield this Thursday, October 4th.

The Wakefield School Council meets today from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Walton School All Purpose Room. The Conservation Commission meets at 7 p.m. on the first floor of town hall.

Free Community Boot Camp Classes: Mass In Motion is offering free community boot camp class tomorrow, October 5th, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Wakefield Common near the bandstand. Contact Joy at joy@melrosebootcamp.com for more information.

Absentee Ballots: The town clerk’s office has announced that absentee ballots are now available. The deadline to register to vote is Oct. 17 and absentee ballots must be received by noon on Monday, Nov. 5.
