Good morning. Here are some things worth knowing in Wakefield this Tuesday, August 28.

With another academic year upon us, the school committee meets tonight at 6 p.m. at the WCAT studios behind the high school.

Also tonight, the town’s World War II Committee meets at town hall in the 1st floor conference room.

If you’re looking for a fun new activity for the fall, one idea may be “Supper Sleuths,” the group of mystery story enthusiasts that meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Beebe Library. The next meeting is Sept. 11 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Just a reminder that today is the last day for artists to register for the 2nd Wakefield Art Walk starting on Saturday, Sept 29. To learn more about this event, go to www.wakefieldpaintout.org.
