The blizzard of 2013 created some new opportunities for outdoor recreation, as noted early in the storm last Friday when one person was spotted out on Quannapowitt early in the storm skating around with a parachute.
After the storm, Wakefield resident Brett Rudy provided us with this video showing him and his 10-year old son Colin outside for a game of blizzard baseball. Like all true New Englanders, these guys know that mid-February is the time to start getting more focused on the coming baseball season.
