Melrose: : Three years after its completion, Oak Grove Village could be sold to a new owner. A spokesman for Pembroke Real Estate, the current owner of the apartment complex at the Melrose-Malden line, confirmed that Pembroke is in discussions with a potential buyer, but could not say who the potential buyer is due to confidentiality agreements.  According to information on the city's property assessment database, Oak Grove Village has a total value of $61,622,600. The building value accounts for $49,548,700 of that value.

Stoneham:  One person was injured in a two-vehicle, head-on crash Thursday morning in the area of North and Pope Streets in Stoneham, according to . At 8:27 a.m., police responded to Pope Street for a report of a head-on collision between two vehicles, according to Stoneham Police Chief Jim McIntyre. The vehicles—each carrying one driver with no passengers—involved in the crash were a Chrysler PT Cruiser and a Chevy Malibu, according to the police chief. "The Chevy Malibu was stopped on North Street waiting to make a left turn onto Pope (Street)," McIntyre said. "The Chrysler was traveling on North Street from Wakefield, and the operator said she experienced some mechanical issues with her operating system and the vehicle accelerated abruptly, the Chrysler lost control, crossed over the center line, hitting the Chevy."

Malden: : A trailer home at 685 Broadway was fully engulfed in flames around 5 p.m. Tuesday night, with EMTs reporting no injuries. A woman was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.

Medford: : A group of teenagers at Victory Park were surrounded by five men who robbed them using a gun and knives Friday night, according to a police report. The suspects were spotted by police shortly after the incident and three of them attempted to flee, leading police on a brief manhunt before being apprehended and positively identified by the victims, the police report said.
