When is she going to finally admit that she is not Native American. What a howl.
Natalie July 13, 2012 at 04:58 PM
WHO CARES? A NON issue. When are Republicans finally going to admit they are cruel, profane and their policies created the second great Depression!
Daniel Lieber July 13, 2012 at 06:06 PM
Thank you for hosting the Q&A. It was very interesting to get Elizabeth Warren's personal responses to important policy issues and for her to respond to the distracting ad hominem attacks on her family's ethnicity.

Thanks for tuning in! So glad you enjoyed it.

Stop blaming Republicans and start looking at who is running the Country now and for the last 3 plus years. It's a Liberal mental disorder that keeps you blaming everyone and ignoring your own garbage policies that are digging us deeper everyday.

Oh so sorry I missed Pocahontas. Another socialist with false credentials. She's about as native American as I am.

The Patch really embarrassed itself yesterday with one technical problem after another but more importantly with the series of one softball question after another that they fed Mrs. Warren. The fact is that in two years Scott Brown has taken a balanced approach to considering every issue that has come before the senate. I've met the guy and spoken to him on a couple of issues. He is smart, open minded, and a great representative of the Commonwealth. Mrs. Warren - not so much. She'd be a great senator for the People's Republic of Cambridge.

Just on the jobs issue. Raising taxes to fund government jobs, rather than leveraging the funds with business investments to create new jobs, products and services that grow the economy, not suck the life out it, is just pandering to the democratic base of unions first. if she wants to invest in education for the students, not the teachers, eliminate unions from education funded by taxes.

did someone say "distracting ad hominem attacks on her family's ethnicity" ? You must be joking! Warren has done nothing to clarify why she was listed as a minority Native faculty member by Harvard in the 1990s, even though she has no evidence to back that claim and that she apparently never sought out other Native Americans on campus, as she claimed. This IS THE ISSUE and should dog her at every campaign appearance

Warren would make a fine senator of MA. She is honest, smart and willing to work for the middle and lower class families. Senator Brown has an inconsistent record these last two years. It is time to take back our government for the people (not for the rich...small minority)

OMG! The 'Indian Lore' expands now to include the Delaware? Next she'’ll be claiming to be a descendant of Allaquippa? Is there ANY tale, ~ any embellishment ~ this pathological liar will NOT tell to cover her tracks? Why can she not bring herself to utter the words "I'm sorry - I lied. I checked the boxes. It was wrong."? Point-by-point: Healthcare: She talks about COSTS 'squeezing' families? ObamaCare has DOUBLED costs already, caused many companies and unions to cancel coverage, and forced many doctors to retire early rather than bother with the paperwork and regulations. Jobs: The ONLY jobs she can talk about are GOVERNMENT jobs - which DO NOT ADD to our economy. Education: NOTE her statistic - education is 350% of what it was 30 years ago. Her Harvard SALARY is $350K…. I'm hardly a raving fan of Scott Brown, but this lifetime liar would be a nightmare in the US Senate. Just last month her research partner from her book - Teresa A. Sullivan - resigned suddenly as Prez of the UnivVA - over simmering allegations of academic fraud in their basic research. She's railed against banks foreclosing on homes - even as she and her family were flipping foreclosed homes in Oklahoma. She is a walking talking fraud!

Warren's claim of being for the Middle Class is laughable. She's a carpetbagging Communist who only wants to continue to rape and plunder our paychecks. She belongs to the same party of mentally challenged individuals like Hank "Guam Will Capsize" Johnson. Joe "Dumb as a Doorknob" Biden. And the radical (Ayer Dorhn Wright apologist) racist ("Cambridge Police Acted Stupidly") Barack Hussein Obama.

Hi Scooter - Thanks for your feedback, and sorry you didn't like our live chat format. The questions came in in real-time from Patch readers - not from Patch staff. In the days before the chat, we sorted through hundreds of questions that were submitted to us to find the most common themes among our readers' questions, then used those themes to pick questions that came in in real-time asking about those particular topics. We had more than 400 questions submitted in about 45 minutes, so we're sorry we couldn't get to everyone's questions. Thanks for tuning in, and we do hope to hold a chat with Scott Brown in the future, too. Also, I disagree with you about technical problems. There weren't any technical problems aside from a few questions that were published before we had even started the chat, which we then figured out how to remove.
Sara Jacobi July 16, 2012 at 01:33 PM
Hi Tim - Well, she did address that question in our chat. The first question we asked, actually.
Don McGowan July 16, 2012 at 05:29 PM
What was distracting about her fraudulent Cherokee claims? I think they are relevant because they reveal the kind of dishonest imposter she is and her character. Also, she's part of the Washington political scene without any local roots and was anointed by Obama himself, thereby eliminating any of our own Massachusetts people from running. Her treatment of DeFranco in the primary was disgraceful. Perhaps that's how things are done in Oklahoma, her state.
