Jax Wants to Share His Big Heart With You

Will you adopt this friendly feline?

Jax Needs a Loving Home

If I look sad in my photo, it is because I really want to have a home of my own again.  I am a young and healthy guy who loves people.  I loved my former people right up until they brought home a Great Dane puppy.  Yeah, puppies are cute.  But do you know how big that cute thing got?  I can’t even describe it.  I’m sure he was a good guy, but I was way too intimidated to find out.  Having to deal with my fear of the dog made my life quite stressful and so we all decided it would be best if I found a new home.

Enough of the sad stuff because I am not letting that define my life. Let me tell you instead how wonderful I am.  First and foremost, I am a handsome, white cat with dark grey patches.  Ok, I am a bit portly, but we could work on that.  And please, do not be fooled.  For a guy with some “heft,” I sure can jump.  I am quite athletic.  And I am playful.  I love to chase things and to roll around on the floor while you dangle something overhead.  I could do that for hours.

The other thing I could do for hours is cuddle with you.  I love to be petted and I love to hang out with humans.  When I roll over and show you my amazing tummy, I know you will be smitten.  I mean, what is better than a soft, furry cat tummy?  Of course when you are busy I can entertain myself with a good nap.  I come with my own basket and panda pillow pet that I can snuggle in when you are busy.  I am really a very easy guy to have around and I think you would love me.  Everyone does.

Since coming to PAWS I have met a number of nice cats, so I can assure you I would be great in a home with other cats.  However, since the stint with that huge, scary dog, I have sworn off canines entirely.  I really prefer a low-stress, quiet house where I can relax and settle in.  I like eating a special diet, but otherwise I have no specific needs (other than a lot of loving and patting!).  I can assure you I will be a wonderful addition to your household.  And, unlike that crazy Great Dane, I do not chew shoes, chase cats, or slobber on you.  Ok, so I drool occasionally when I am very, very, happy.  But I promise to love you forever if you would let me share my heart with you.
