Holiday Stroll: The annual Holiday Stroll is on Saturday in downtown Wakefield, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Starting with a 3 p.m. Hat Parade at the Americal Civic Center. The Wakefield Event Planning Committee has a full events calendar on its website here.
PAWS: This Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 1 and 2) you can help support PAWS, a Wakefield-based nonprofit specializing in pet adoption, by getting your pet’s photo taken with Santa at the Danvers PetSmart (104 Andover Street, Route 114) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Receive a 4x6 photo in a holiday collector frame for $9.95 and PetSmart will donate $5 to PAWS. Chris Herren: The Wakefield Warrior Club has announced that former NBA player Chris Herren will speak in Wakefield on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 7:00PM at the Galvin Middle School Auditorium about his battles with substance abuse.
