Five Things You Need To Know: Jan. 17

Today is Thursday, January 17th. Here are five things you need to know.

Flu Clinic: The Wakefield Health Department has announced a flu clinic at Town Hall on Thursday, January 17th from 5:30-6:30pm in the first floor conference room. The flu vaccine is free with the following insurances: Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross of Massachusetts, Unicare, Fallon, Health New England, Neighborhood Health Plan, BMC Healthnet, MassHealth and Medicare Part B. The vaccine is $10 for those without one of the accepted insurances.

Nunsense: On January 25, 26 and 27, the Wakefield Repertory Theatre presents “Nunsense” at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at http://www.ticketstage.com/WRT or by calling (781) 245-1173.  Click here for showtimes and more information.

New Play Coming Up: Speaking of local theater, the Quannapowitt Players are putting on a new play by Dustin Lance Black, “8,” which focuses on the legal battle over California’s Proposition 8 same-sex marriage ban.
