Five Things You Need To Know: Jan. 15

Flu clinic at town hall is Thursday. Also, limited space still available for WCAT's upcoming digital photography class.

Today is Tuesday, January 15th. Here are five things you need to know.

Flu Clinic: The Wakefield Health Department has announced a flu clinic at Town Hall on Thursday, January 17th from 5:30-6:30pm in the first floor conference room. The flu vaccine is free with the following insurances: Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross of Massachusetts, Unicare, Fallon, Health New England, Neighborhood Health Plan, BMC Healthnet, MassHealth and Medicare Part B. The vaccine is $10 for those without one of the accepted insurances.

Face Off For Ace: The Ace Bailey Children’s Foundation has announced that its Face Off For Ace Event will be held February 13, 2013 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge. Special guest this year is Hall of Famer Mark Messier. Bailey was a former Boston Bruin and Lynnfield resident who was killed in the 9/11 attacks. The nonprofit that bears his name works to improve the experiences of children in area hospitals. Click here for more information.

Auditions Announced: The Wakefield Repertory Theater is having auditions for the musical farce “Lucky Stiff” on Monday, January 28th and Wednesday, January 30th from 7 to 10 p.m. Visit www.wakefieldrep.org for more information.
