Little League: A walk-in Little League registration is coming up on Saturday, Feb. 9th from 9 a.m. to noon at the Knights of Columbus Hall on North Avenue. For more information, click here.

Town Business: The Wakefield Selectmen meet tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Wakefield Cable Access TV studios.

Peter Hotton: Coming up on Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m., Peter Hotton, longtime home and garden editor for the Boston Globe, presents “The Hazards and Hilarities of Fixing up an Old Home.”  This is part of the library’s ongoing “Do It Yourself” series of talks.

SEPAC: The Lynnfield Special Education Parents Advisory Council holds a presentation on basic rights in special education this Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Lynnfield Preschool. All are welcome to attend. The workshop will help participants learn about special education law, the processes involving special education, and what their rights are.

Gathering Change: Next Wednesday, January 16th, Whole Foods in Swampscott will donate 5% of your pre-tax purchase to Gathering Change, Inc. This Lynnfield-based nonprofit group gathers donated pocket change at various events to help support North Shore food pantries.
