Today is Friday, January 11th. Here are five things you need to know.

Flu Clinic: The Wakefield Health Department will hold a flu clinic at Town Hall on Thursday, January 17th, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the first floor conference room. The flu vaccine is free with the following insurances: Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross of Massachusetts, Unicare, Fallon, Health New England, Neighborhood Health Plan, BMC Healthnet, MassHealth and Medicare Part B. The vaccine is $10 for those without one of the accepted insurances.

Rally 4 Reynolds: Coming up on Saturday, January 12th, help a local family fight leukemia. Rally 4 Reynolds is at the Wakefield Elks Club from 7 to 11 p.m., tickets are $25 for a buffet dinner, music, raffles, silent auction and more. Proceeds will help Keith Reynolds and his family, all Wakefield residents, as they meet the challenges of an acute lymphoblastic leukemia diagnosis. . 

Linden Tree Coffeehouse: Saturday, January 12 at 8 p.m., Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen play folk and bluegrass music at the Linden Tree Coffeehouse at the Unitarian Church in downtown Wakefield. Tickets are $20. For more information, click here. Donations of warm clothing for the needy are also accepted at the concert.

Children's Hospital: Local resident Tracy Ellsworth is raising money for Boston Children’s Hospital this spring by running in the Boston Marathon and also with an upcoming comedy night fundraiser at Giggles (in Prince Restaurant) on Route 1 in Saugus. Tickets are $20, the night features three comedians, and unlimited pizza. Proceeds benefit Boston Children’s Hospital. Click here for more information.

LCC Coffeehouse: Tonight at 7:45 p.m., the next coffee house at the Lynnfield Community Church on Salem Street (near the Route 1 intersection ) features Arnie Rosen and Andrea Hissong., who play folk, jazz and more. Admission is by donation. To learn more, click here.
