Today is Tuesday, February 12th. Here are five things you need to know.

Snow Removal: An announcement on the town website notes that snow removal in downtown and the Greenwood area are expected to continue through Thursday morning. Sidewalk plowing may continue until Wednesday, while other snow removal work will be underway in town on Tuesday. Wakefield DPW Director Richard Stinson also provided this snow removal update to Wakefield Patch yesterday afternoon.

Chamber of Commerce: The newest member of the Wakefield Chamber of Commerce is the Soma Day Spa, which has a ribbon cutting today at 12:30 p.m. at 341 North Ave. in Wakefield.  Click here for more information. http://www.wakefieldschamber.org/

The Beebe Library’s Travel and Nature series continues on Wednesday, February 13th at 7 p.m. when Bille Gette of Mass Audubon gives a talk and slide presentation on Central America’s “New World Tropics.”

Calling Local Trivia Teams: There’s still time to get your trivia team together to help raise scholarship money for Wakefield students. On Saturday, February 23rd, the Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield holds its annual Trivia Team Challenge. .

Little League Signup: Is this Saturday, February 16th at the Knights of Columbus – 570 North Ave. -  from 9 a.m. to noon. Signups were postponed by the Blizzard this past weekend.
