Today is Monday, February 11th. Here are five things you need to know.

No School: There’s no school today in the town of Wakefield. In a note to residents on the town of Wakfield website, DPW Director Richard Stinson asks people to shovel out their hydrants and catch basins in their neighborhoods, and to avoid shoveling or plowing snow into public roadways.

Town Business:
The selectmen and planning board are scheduled (for now) to meet at Wakefield Cable Access TV studios at 7 p.m.

Need a hand with your taxes? The AARP Foundation Tax Aide offers help, with a particular focus on those over the age of 60 with a low to middle income. You can make an appointment at the Wakefield Senior Center for Wednesdays by calling 781-245-3312. Click here for more information.

Beebe Library: There was a Graphic Novel Art Workshop scheduled for yesterday (Sunday) at the Beebe Library that will now be held on Sunday, March 10th.
