Peter Gonnella Fundraiser: On January 17 at 7 p.m., a fundraiser is planned at Kowloon on Route 1 in Saugus for the family of Peter Gonnella, who died of cancer at age 48. Click here for more information.

Energy Efficient Homes: The Beebe Library is offering an upcoming program on keeping older homes more energy efficient. On Wednesday, January 9 at 7 p.m., Sally Zimmerman of Historic New England discusses insulation, window repair, and more.

Peter Sheridan: Speaking of the Beebe Library, the next Peter Sheridan Sing-Along for kids aged 5 and under is Saturday, Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Beebe Library in downtown Wakefield. Wakefield residents can get free tickets at the library’s youth room desk the week before the show, while residents of other towns can get tickets the day of the concert.
