Today is Tuesday, December 11. Here are five things you need to know.

School Superintendent Search: The second focus group of the week in the ongoing search for a Wakefield  superintendent of schools is tonight at 7 p.m. at the main office conference room at the high school. This focus group is for alumni and the general public. Call Karen Fitzpatrick at 781-246-6431 or email karen.fitzpatrick@wpsk12.org if you would like to attend.

Town Business: The school committee meets Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. at Wakefield Cable Access TV Studio.

Civil War Christmas: Coming up on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Church and the Standing Room Only Concert Series present “A Civil War Christmas” featuring various performers doing selections from this crucial time in American history. Click here for more information
