Five Things Worth Knowing: Middle School Play This Weekend

Today is Thursday, April 4th. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Masonic Open House: The Wakefield-Lynnfield Masonic building at 370 Salem Street has its spring open house this Saturday, April 6th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.

Local Theater Fundraiser: You can help support the Wakefield Repertory Theatre just by dining at the Chili’s on 70 Walkersbrook Drive in Reading on Monday, April 15th and Tuesday, April 16th, for both dine in and carry out. A portion of your check will go to the WRT and their production of “Lucky Stiff,” which opens later this month.

Middle School Play: This Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th at 7 p.m., the Galvin Middle School Drama Club presents “Once on this Island.” Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults.

Dessert Talk: Gloria Mezikofsky from WCAT’s “Glo’s Kitchen” is coming to the library on Sunday, April 7 at 2 p.m. for a demonstration on some of the desserts in her new cookbook “Dessert Gems.”

Autism Workshop: With April being Autism Awareness Month, the Lynnfield Special Education Parents Advisory Council and Autism Speaks present a workshop on autism next Wednesday, April 10th from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lynnfield Preschool, 525 Salem Street.
