Five Things Worth Knowing: Annual Antique Fair This Weekend

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Wednesday, March 20th. Here are five things worth knowing today.

Antique Fair: The First Parish Congregational Church in Wakefield holds its 42nd annual antique show and sale this Friday, March 22 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The 6th annual Blossoms at the Beebe fundraising gala is Saturday, April 27th, featuring a 1920s style Great Gatsby theme this year. For complete information about the event, visit the official website here.

Feng Shui: Coming up on Tuesday, March 26th at 7 p.m., the Beebe Library welcomes Julie Pelletier-Rutkowski, MS, RN for a talk on “Spring Cleaning: The Feng Shui Approach.” Click here to reserve a space.

Prom Dress Drive: Do you have a new or gently used prom dress you can donate to a student who would otherwise not be able to afford one? Wakefield High School is having their third annual prom dress drive this week. Drop them off at the main office between now and Friday. Click here for more.

Concussion Education: The SLICE concussion education program is tonight at 7 p.m. in the Lynnfield Middle School Auditorium. The interactive program is geared toward students in grades 4-12, plus their parents and coaches, and is run by Boston University medical students. Click here for more information.
