Five Things to Know Today, Sept. 14

Several town commissions meet tonight, the library hosts a drop-in story time, and more things to know today.

1. Sunny - Today will be partly sunny with a high near 83. However, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 9 a.m., with a 20 percent chance of precipitation, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Today in Wakefield sports - Boys varsity golf takes on Swampscott High School at 3:15 p.m. @ Swampscott.

4. Today at the library - The holds its "" story time today at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., depending on age group. The story time will be held regularly from now until October 19th on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Children will sing songs, play musical instruments, play games, and more.
