Five Things to Know Today, June 15

A small business forum in Stoneham, the Event Planning Committee is looking for volunteers, play auditions are tonight for 5-8th graders, and more things to know today.

1. Sunny skies - Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 71, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Play auditions - If you missed it yesterday, the Wakefield Reperatory Theater is holding auditions for its summer production, Disney's My Son Pinocchio today at 4 p.m. at the .

3. Belt it out - If you woke up wearing your singing (and dancing) shoes today, you're in luck. The Wakefield Weeknights MeetUp group is hanging out tonight at the at 8:30 p.m. for some karaoke. Read here for more information.

4. Calling all small business owners - If you're up for a trip to Stoneham today, State Senator Katherine Clark, Representative Jason Lewis and Representative James Dwyer along with local chambers of commerce will host a forum focused on small business health insurance and new regulations allowing for the creation of health insurance pools. The panel begins at 8 a.m. at Montvale Plaza, 54 Montvale Ave in Stoneham.
