Five Things to Know Today, April 21

Hours of the Wakefield School Vacation Carnival today, state legislator open office hours, and more things to know today.

1. Sun's back! - Pack up your umbrellas because today will be sunny, with a high near 57. It will be pretty windy, though, with gusts as high as 40 mph.

2. Today in Wakefield sports - Boys varsity baseball takes on Woburn at 3:45 p.m. at home.

3. April Vacation Carnival - Today's April  Vacation Carnival is open in the parking lot from 2 - 10 p.m. The carnival features games, food, and rides. It's open through Saturday, April 23.

4. - Despite the carnival happening right next to the food pantry, the will be open its regular hours through this week. The only change is that volunteers, donors and clients of the WIFP are asked to enter via the front doors at the Americal Civic Center instead of the side entrance.

5. State Rep. holds open office hours - Rep. Paul Brodeur will be holding open office hours today from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the .
