New Boys & Girls Club Unit Director

I am the new Unit Director for the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham/Wakefield Club and we are excited to bring Boys & Girls Club programming to the community.

As the Unit Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham/Wakefield site I have been on the job just over a month. Plans are underway to convert the Lower section of the Americal Civic Center into a thriving afterschool youth program for the town of Wakefield. Renovations are underway and programs are being planned for the upcoming fall and winter program. As of Tuesday, August 6th, the Club officially signed a lease agreement with the Americal Civic Center to occupy several rooms in the building.

I bring to Wakefield more than 28 years of Boys & Girls Club management experience, and was recently the Director of Operations for the Boys & Girls Club of Lower Merrimack Valley in Salisbury MA. I have developed and implemented several Boys & Girls Club National Award winning programs in mentoring, anti-bullying and the performing arts

In May of this year the Salisbury Boys & Girls Club received 3 National Awards at the Boys & Girls Club National Convention in Orlando Florida, one of them for “Best Overall Program” for a Boys & Girls Club of their size and budget.
