Increase your business with Suburban Success, a local networking group

If you own or run a local business, you understand the value of effective networking in generating customers.

Suburban Success, formerly known as The Referral Connection, is a group of local businesspeople from the north suburban area who meet weekly in Wakefield to learn about each other’s trade, refer customers and exchange ideas. This structured networking group is a chapter of Business Network International (BNI). Members include sole proprietors, small businesses and representatives of larger businesses in the greater Wakefield area.

Meetings take place at 7 a.m. at the Americal Civic Center, 467 Main St., Wakefield. Businesses and individuals from surrounding towns, such as Melrose, Malden, Stoneham, Reading, North Reading, Lynn, Peabody, Winchester, Andover and others are welcome.

Among the business categories that Suburban Success is seeking are contractor, electrician, plumber, landscaper, chiropractor and more. When attending a meeting as a guest, you will have the opportunity to network with other local businesses and there is no obligation to join the group.

“Participating in this group has definitely increased my business,” said Suburban Success President Joe Casale, a financial advisor from Wakefield whose office is in Burlington. “I’ve also been able to learn a lot about other area businesses and make a number of quality referrals to members. It’s a very supportive group and it’s set up to help generate referrals.”
