What Businesses Are Opening At MarketStreet Lynnfield This Year?

This week, Ted Tye of National Development provided a full rundown of the familiar and local brand names we can expect when MarketStreet opens around late August.

In recent months, various high-profile companies have announced that they will be opening locations later this year at MarketStreet Lynnfield. The development is near Pleasure Island Road in Wakefield and the Sheraton Colonial.

Local residents have known that Whole Foods, Davio's, Legal C Bar, The Yard House, King's and J.P. Licks Ice Cream will be among the familiar brands present when Lynnfield's largest-ever commercial and residential development opens later this year.

In a visit to the MarketStreet Lynnfield construction site this week, Ted Tye, managing partner of National Development, provided a rundown of some more things we can expect in the coming months - including a much more in-depth list of the commercial tenants for Phase 1 of MarketStreet Lynnfield.

"We've really looked for some unique tenants. We want tenants to have a little bit of local flavor," said Tye, going on to report that "some really exciting names" will also be announced over the next 90 days. Tye also indicated that the list below represents about a third of the total number of tenants expected to have a presence at MarketStreet Lynnfield.

For now, here is a full rundown of the shops and eateries, along with the above mentioned ones, that we can expect to see at MarketStreet Lynnfield late this year.

Polka Dog Bakery
is a Boston-based "treat boutique for dogs."

Miniluxe
is a nail and beauty lounge with various locations in Eastern Massachusetts.

Lunette Optic
provides luxury eyeware and optometry services.

Otto Pizza
is a Portland, Maine-based pizza place that recently opened a Boston location. Lynnfield would be its third location, reports Tye.

Hot Mama
is a small national boutique chain selling clothing geared toward moms of all ages.

Make Meaning
can also be found at Legacy Place in Dedham, reports Tye, adding that he is glad to see this business coming to MarketStreet. It's a family-friendly place where kids and adults can do crafts and other activities.

The Paper Store
specializes in upscale stationery, gifts, and other items.

Rooster's Men's Grooming Center
offers an old-school barbershop atmosphere without being old-fashioned, reports its website.

Panera Bread is a well-known chain featuring sandwiches, coffee and snacks.

Boloco Burrito is a Boston-based burrito chain also well-known in these parts for its formidable burritos.

Besito is an upscale Mexican Grill with three locations, all in New York or Connecticut.

Five Guys: An increasingly popular and growing chain that specializes in just burgers and fries.

Roster: This store sells upscale Boston-themed sports apparel.

Pinkberry: The popular frozen yogurt and topping chain joins the roster of small eateries at MarketStreet Lynnfield.

FuGaKyu: This Japanese restaurant has a location in Brookline and can sure be a mouthful to say - word on its website is, the name translates to "House of Exquisite Elegance."

Starbucks: Yes, Lynnfield is going to have a Starbucks.

Teavana: Purveyors of fine tea from around the world.

J.Jill: This is a well-known retailer of women's clothing and footwear with New England roots.

Lululemon: This company sells yoga clothing and other workout gear for women and men.

American Eagle sells jeans and other apparel for women and men.

Loft is a women's clothing retailer.
