What Are Wakefielders Selling On Etsy.com?

Are you in that last-minute holiday shopping mode? See what some of these creative folks from Wakefield are selling online in their shops on Etsy.com.

A number of Wakefielders are among the thousands of people who sell hand-made crafts and other items on Etsy.com - and if you like to shop locally yourself, there might be some great last-minute Christmas gift ideas in here. You know you don’t want to endure another mall visit this holiday season, and there’s probably just enough time left to get a last minute gift in the mail before Christmas. With that, take a look at what some talented town residents have come up with!

Regina Martine Design: Regina, who is also one of the writers for the weekly "Parent Yap" column on Wakefield Patch, sells some very nice paintings, as well as hand made Kindle cases and cell phone cases.

Wakefield Woodworker: Town resident Dan Noren has a store featuring about 30 hand-turned items, including pens, pepper mills, and even a shaving brush.

Bags Of Distinction: Cheryl Webb Scott sells unique shoulder bags inspired by the ones favored by women during the Victorian Era. Her shop currently has 10 different ones to choose from.

Thinking Bean is owned by a Wakefield woman who offers hand-made makeup bags and photography prints – including a really cool shot of jellyfish taken at the Atlanta Aquarium.

Nancy Nolan is the proprietor of Nancy’s Needles,” featuring hand-sewn or hand-knit items of clothing for infants, toddlers and children.

AMG Design Studio is run by AnnMarie Gallivan, who specializes in colorful origami designs, some of which are also decorated with Swarovski crystals.

Theresa Melito of Wakefield’s shop name is a mouthful – BadaBingBuyABobble.” She’s got a number of nice-looking and colorful pieces of handmade jewelry for sale on her Etsy.com shop, with a fairly wide price range.

Murphy Custom Creations: Amiee Murphy of Wakefield’s online shop specializes in scrapbooks, announcements, cards and other paper-based gifts. 

Lyss Design: Alyssa Fedorchak of Wakefield has about a dozen items up for sale on Etsy – much of it is nice handmade jewelry featuring cool-colored stones such as agate and caltrite. Other items include a crochet collar and a couple of purses.

The Little Tree Company: Pam Wilkerson has a few miniature Christmas tree replicas up for sale, each of them one of a kind.

The Sit Stay Beg Cookie Co. features wheat-free and gluten-free dog treats in flavors like pumpkin apple pie spice with cranberry and peanut butter banana.

Jane Gillette of Wakefield is selling some greeting cards under the name JEG Design that are laser-printed reproductions of various hand-cut paper collages. They’re almost reminiscent of Grandma Moses’ work. She creates these images using tiny pieces from old National Geographic magazines.
