The following is an announcement from Rucci Bardaro & Falzone:
Boston area accounting and business advisory firm Rucci Bardaro & Barrett is now Rucci Bardaro & Falzone, the company announced today.
The name change reflects the amicable departure of partner Christopher Barrett, and recognizes the ongoing leadership role of Wakefield resident Salvatore P. Falzone Jr., CPA, a twelve-year partner of the firm.
Falzone, who lives with his wife Liz and their son Stephen in Wakefield, joined the firm in 1999 and was named a partner in 2000. He was appointed to its board of directors in 2002. In 2009, he was made the firm’s chief operating officer.
“Sal has been involved in the firm’s strategic planning and decision-making for quite some time now,” said the firm’s founding partner and president Bill Rucci. “He has also been instrumental in guiding the day-to-day operations of the firm. We are thrilled to recognize his contributions in a more formal way by adding his name to the masthead.”
In addition to his responsibilities as an accounting, tax and business advisor to the firm’s clientele, Falzone is a board member of the nonprofit Angel Fund benefiting neuromuscular research. He also serves as a volunteer advisor to the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts.
