The MarketStreet at Lynnfield project now has 15 buildings under construction simultaneously, according to an update on National Development’s MarketStreetConstruction.com website.
Some signs of things to come can be seen from the future MarketStreet entrance on Walnut Street in Lynnfield – primarily the structures that in late 2013 will be home to Whole Foods, Legal C Bar, and other major tenants. In fact, the structure that will house the Whole Foods, Building 100, is reportedly now being enclosed by workers.
Also, National Development reports that Arborpoint at MarketStreet, with 180 luxury apartments, is on track to open this fall and that along with three residential buildings, foundations for the future golf course clubhouse are now being worked on. The future JP Licks ice cream is reportedly expected to front the golf course green in what will be known as Building 600.
In Wakefield, access to the project will be via Paradise Island Road, which has raised its share of concerns about traffic and related issues with town officials.
Some construction photos taken right after the New Year are also now posted on the National Development website at this link.
