MarketStreet Celebrates St. Patrick's Day on Saturday

MarketStreet Lynnfield will host its first St. Patrick's Day Festival on Saturday, March 15 with live musical performances, Irish Step Dancers, face painting and fun family activities throughout the day.

Several of the restaurants have added Irish fare to their menus and, weather permitting, will open their patio seating areas for diners to enjoy the festivities. 

The activities will begin at 11 a.m. on The MarketStreet Lynnfield Green with Irish Step Dance instructions from the Carney Academy of Irish Dance followed by fun family activities. The Market Square Stage located just outside of OTTO Pizza, Wagamama and Panera Bread will open at 11:45 with an Irish Step Dancing performance followed by three hours of live music.

11 a.m. -- Step Dancing Class on The Green with the Carney Academy of Irish Dance of Wakefield

11:45 a.m. -- Carney Academy of Irish Dance at Market Square Stage

Noon -- Tommy Byrne & Dennis Curtain Band

1 p.m. -- The Heavy Quinn Academy of Irish Dance at Market Square Stage

1:30 p.m. -- Denis O'Gorman & The Jolly Tinkers at Market Square Stage

2 p.m. -- The Heavy Quinn Academy of Irish Dance at Market Square Stage

2:30 p.m. -- Denis O'Gorman & The Jolly Tinkers at Market Square Stage

3 p.m. -- Ireland at Market Square Stage

Many of the 50 shops and restaurants at MarketStreet Lynnfield will have additional activities throughout the day in their stores or on The Green. 

“After such a long Winter, there is no better way to welcome the Spring, than celebrating St. Patrick’s Day outdoors at MarketStreet Lynnfield with great music, food and drink from our amazing restaurants,” said Nanci Horn, general manager of MarketStreet Lynnfield.

The St. Patrick’s Day Festival at MarketStreet Lynnfield is weather permitting and will be cancelled in the event of rain.
