Info Management Firm Coming To Wakefield

SDL set to open new 18,763 square foot office on Edgewater Drive, as well as another location in Waltham.

Cassidy Turley FHO, a leader in the commercial real estate services field with extensive experience in the greater Boston office market, today announced two leases for SDL, an award winning, global information management firm, in Waltham and Wakefield totaling 28,543-square-feet.  SDL is relocating to 9,780-square-feet at 410 Totten Pond Road in Waltham and 18,763-square-feet at 201 Edgewater Drive in Wakefield.

“Waltham and Wakefield have provided us two hubs to do business in Greater Boston and we are very happy to be growing here,” said Keith Laska, CEO of SDL’s Language Technologies division.  “As our company expands globally, it is invaluable to have good partners on the local level.”

SDL is relocating and growing to 9,780-square-feet at 410 Totten Pond Road in Waltham, where it will be for the next five years.  In Wakefield, the firm is relocating to 18,763-square-feet at 201 Edgewater Drive in a seven year deal. 

“SDL thoroughly evaluated the market, including consolidation scenarios,” said Michael O’Leary, Vice President of Cassidy Turley FHO.  “After careful consideration, the company chose to remain in separate locations, as this business model has proved to be very successful for their company,”

Senior Managing Directors, Principals John Boyle and Brian Hines of Cassidy Turley FHO joined O’Leary to represent SDL in both transactions.
