Ideas to Escape: Beebe Library on a Saturday Night

This week's Great Escape allows you to support both Wakefield's  and while escaping the humdrum of another Saturday night at home.

On add some fun, culture, and wine to your weekend with the 4th Annual Blossoms at the Beebe. This over 21 event offers a flower show with floral displays from local shops, wine tasting and a cash bar, food, live band and a silent auction. 

The silent auction is already going on and you can bid here and at the live event. Some of the items include Red Sox tickets, beauty makeovers, paintings, martial arts classes, antiques, theatre tickets, hotel stays and much more.

Tickets are $30 each and your auction card is attached. You can buy your tickets online here or stop in that the to make your purchase. Proceeds go toward the support of and Wakefield’s Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets are limited and have sold out prior to the event the last three years, so buy yours in advance.

Hire a babysitter, gather some friends and your spouse and head out. When else can say that you partied at the library on a Saturday night?
