Blue Moon Grill

The breakfast and lunch cafe celebrates its one year anniversary.

One year ago, the Blue Moon Grill opened in Wakefield on Main St., across from the former Post Office, serving both breakfast and lunch in the small, cozy, and clean café. For about $10-12 per person, you can enjoy a delicious, home-cooked breakfast or lunch.

Chef Vinny Chiuchido said he wants you to come in and try out his recipes. "We've gotten really good over the past year," he said enthusiastically.

Not in the mood for the usual bacon and eggs? Check out the menu board written high on the wall in colorful chalk, above an open, framed window to the kitchen where you can watch your meal (or someone else's) being prepared. Creative specials like Italian stuffed French Toast are listed, alongside Irish eggs Benedict and Cordon Bleu Crepes, and more.

When you’re looking for a treat, call a friend (or two) and enjoy one of these customer favorites: Sweet Potato Omelet ($8.50) with carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, with a tarragon glaze; a Breakfast Burrito ($6.95) black beans, onions, cheese, peppers, and eggs wrapped in a tortillo; or for lunch, Chicken Broccoli with Cream Sauce ($8.95).

But don't ask us. A waitress, Jill, said, "Vinny makes the best around!"
