Wakefield's 'The President' Releases New EP, Video

A year ago, Wakefield rapper Nick "The President" Kermelewicz won Patch's battle of the bands. This month, he's got a new EP out.

The President, a rapper and Wakefield resident who won the Patch battle of the bands last year, has just released a new video and six-track EP.

A little more than a year ago, The President – a.k.a. Nick Kermelewicz, emerged as the winner of Patch’s month-long battle of the bands in the Boston area, going on to headline a show at the Harp.

In a recent follow-up conversation with Wakefield Patch, Kermelewicz said that he’s been writing music for as long as he can remember – and he got serious about in 2008, the same year he graduated from Northeast Metro Technical Vocational High School.

The President’s new EP, done with Philadelphia rapper LRB, is entitled “Cheesesteaks and Roast Beef,” a nod to the local delicacies from their respective hometowns. The full digital album can be downloaded at this link
