Hegedus Will Emcee Annual Buddy Walk for 2nd Time

Fox 25 news anchor Heather Hegedus is set to return as emcee of this year’s Buddy Walk to benefit the National Down Syndrome Society. Hegedus is a native of neighboring Lynnfield.

The 17th annual Buddy Walk and Family Festival is next Sunday, October 13th at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield.

Entertainment at this year’s event will include performances by Ayla Brown, the Boston Ballet Adaptive Dance Program, children’s musician Mr. Vic, and record-breaking jumping dog Yeager. The Adaptive Class at Beyond Self Defense in Wakefield will also provide a self-defense demonstration.
