"Winter on Broadway": A Cabaret Fundraising Event

“Winter on Broadway” Cabaret to be presented by Wakefield Repertory Theatre

This weekend, Wakefield Repertory Theater will be presenting “Winter on Broadway”, a cabaret fundraiser featuring around 40 songs from a variety of shows, including Hairspray, Oliver, Annie and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.  The fundraiser will help defray the cost of adding comfortable folding chairs to the group’s performance space.

Local children and adults performing in this show include: Monica Bruno and Gabriel Clark from Lynn; Emily Cierpial, Kelly Cryan, Hannah DiTonno, Emily Mayne, Katie Murphy, Nathan Prosperi, Samantha Prosperi and Maggie Tryder from Wakefield; Maria Coughlan and Robert Coughlan from Billerica; Katy Downey from Boston; Billy Thompson from East Boston; Marissa Geller, Sarah Gyurina, Lillian Lawlor, Fiona O'Donnell and Chris Vander Rhodes from Melrose; Shaenaeus Graf from North Reading; Nekhebet Kum Juch from Beverly; Kendall Klipper from Middleton; Christina Kostoulakos from Lowell; Carolina Lanney from Saugus; Sara Sokolove from Newton; Elyse Williams from Waltham; and Shane Williams from Malden.

The show will be presented on December 2 and 3 at 8:00pm and December 4 at 3:00pm at Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon Street, Wakefield, MA. Tickets are $20 each and include a light snack. Drinks and additional refreshments will be available as well.  Tickets can be ordered by calling 781-245-1173 or online at www.wakefieldrep.org.
