The “Rally 4 Reynolds” committee is excited to announce that they will be ringing in the new year with a fundraiser for a family of Wakefield Warriors who are devoted members of the Wakefield community.  Committee spokesperson Nancy Rollins states:  “Keith Reynolds, a native of Wakefield, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in September.  Keith, a 1981 WHS graduate, is married to Cathy (Terravecchia)) Reynolds,  also a Wakefield resident and a 1981 WHS graduate. Keith and Cathy are the proud parents of Michael, a graduate of WHS class of 2009 and Aimee, a graduate of WHS class of 2011.  Keith is the son of former Wakefield police officer Charles Gil Reynolds and his wife Mae, and is the younger brother of Steven and Tommy Reynolds.  Help us help them enter the New Year feeling the support of their community!

Committee spokesperson Nancy Rollins states: “As we all know, an illness of this magnitude is a tremendous financial burden. As a committee made up of friends and family, we are happy to report that the "Rally 4 Reynolds" planning committee plans to raise funds to enable the Reynolds family to attend to what is most important during this trying time, their family and 2 college aged children.”

According to Rollins:  “We are thankful to the Wakefield Board of Selectmen for declaring January 12, 2013 as “Rally 4 Reynolds" Day in Wakefield! We kindly ask Wakefield residents and their families and friends to please join us for an evening of family, friends, love, hope and fun as we “Rally 4 Reynolds” in their fight against leukemia!  We hope to see many families and friends for a night of music and camaraderie on January 12th.  While the event will certainly be a great deal of fun for all ages, it will also allow the family to feel that their community and friends are there to support them during this exceptionally delicate time. We hope that our community will consider supporting this worthy cause in whatever way they can.”
