Organizers would like to encourage area residents to experience a Jewish Shabbat service that while still traditional is also contemporary, a service that is totally inclusive with voices rising as one.  Music stirs the soul and touches people in a way that words simply cannot.  The service is constructed to allow for everyone's participation and was designed by congregants of Temple Emmanuel.

Following the service we will have a special Oneg to celebrate Shabbat and our efforts as a community.  Additional dates for Shabbat Shira are planned for the first Friday of the following months: January 4, February 1, March 1, April 5, May 2, and June 7.
