More Snow Headed to Wakefield Tuesday

The National Weather Service says another storm may drop 4-6 inches of snow.

Are you ready for more snow? There's a good chance of another 4-6 inches heading this way Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory in effect from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Snow is expected to start falling after 10 a.m., becoming heavy briefly in the afternoon before tapering off in the evening.

The weather service says driving conditions may become hazardous at times and heavy snow will likely affect the evening commute. Visibility may be down to a half- or quarter-mile at times.

Northeasterly winds of 5-10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph are expected to accompany the snow. Two to four inches may accumulate during the day with another 1 to 2 inches during the night. The temperature will be in the teens to mid 20s.
