After 2 Months Missing, Wakefield Dog Spotted Twice Recently

Frankie’s owners had been fearing the worst.

Frankie, a Shepard/American Staffordshire Terrier mix who has been missing for two months, was spotted twice recently, according to her owners.

Her owners had been fearing the worst, as Frankie hadn’t been seen in six weeks.

A few days ago, she was seen near Lowell and Vernon streets and before that, near Lawrence Road.

If you see Frankie, don’t call out to or chase her, just call her owners at 781-334-8364.

Thank you for posting the update on Frankie, John. We really need folks to call if they have seen her at all...even in the past. Every bit of information will help. Should anyone see her, it is very important not to call or chase her, as you mention. Frankie is terrified, and we don't want to cause her to run into traffic. Please call, day or night - 781-334-8364. Thank you.

Good luck! I had a friend who had success with finding her golden. The person who spotted the dog called while she kept her eyes on the frightened dog and the owners came and had a sweet reunion. I will be on the lookout for Frankie. There is a great lost dog site in Mass, actually 2 of them. Hoping you have posted there also.

Thank you, Cheryl. I am a Granite State Dog Recovery volunteer working with a group of volunteers to help find and rescue Frankie. She has been lost for 2 months and is terrified, so it's important that anyone who sees her doesn't call out to her or chase her. We are relying on kind people like you to keep an eye out for Frankie and to call us at 781-334-8364 if she is spotted. Thank you again.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Frankie is still lost and is doing a good job at hiding. Please keep an eye out for her. She's very thin now having been lost since April. And she is terrified...she hides during the day and comes out for food very late at night. We have pictures of Frankie walking along Lowell Street in the area of Beebe and Drury Lane. She has a brown body and a white face. If you see her or have seen her in the past please call 781-334-8364. DO NOT CALL OR CHASE HER BECAUSE SHE WILL RUN AND POSSIBLY LEAVE THE AREA. Thank you.
