Wakefield's Event Planning Committee (EPC) Sponsors 5th Annual "Tis the Season" Holiday Stroll Saturday, December 7, 2013

Looking for a fun way to kick off the holidays with your family and friends this year? Please mark your calendars and join us at our next community event, the “Tis the Season” Holiday Stroll. The event is packed with fun, family-friendly events and continuous activities. The Holiday Stroll is scheduled for Saturday, December 7th in downtown Wakefield along Main and Albion streets.

Before the parade starts at 3 p.m., all are welcome to the Civic Center for children’s activities, for the first 500 families to pick up one of our 2013 Holiday Stroll bags, and for light refreshments. Starting at 3 p.m., the official Stroll will be kicked off by our traditional Holiday Stroll Hat Parade, which will be led by our amazing Wakefield High School Marching Band.

As revelers, you will stroll along Albion & Main streets and enjoy raffles, prizes and incredible offerings provided by our local merchants. Entertainment will be ongoing from 3 – 7 p.m.

We are busy scheduling some exciting offerings, including but not limited to horse drawn carriage rides and a special visitor direct from the North Pole.

Please mark your calendars and plan to join us in this wonderful community event. Follow updates posted on our website: wakefieldepc.com, like us on our Facebook page under Event Planning Committee or you can now follow us on Twitter @WakefieldEPC.
