Assistant Saugus Police Chief Ronald Giorgetti, Police Chief Dominic DiMella, Selectman Stephen Castinetti and State Representative Donald Wong were among those who stopped by the Saugus Town Hall to pay their respects at the memorial for Gertrude "Trudi" Alagero and David DiMeglio, both of whom lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The memorial honoring the local residents is located outside the Saugus Town Hall.
