Quannapowitt Images 2013: A Community Art Show sponsored by Friends of Lake Quannapowitt (FOLQ)

Friends of Lake Quannapowitt (FOLQ) will be sponsoring an exhibit of  Images of Lake Quannapowitt this fall – opening on November 8 at the Americal Civic Center.     The exhibit will feature entries from a whole range of media and skill levels,  but all connected by subject matter – images of our Lake and  its surrounding lands.  The show will be a visual celebration the lake’s beauty - a focal point for Wakefield and surrounding communities.   Everyone, from professional to amateur, from child to senior citizen is invited to participate.

A jury of artists from outside Wakefield will choose the best of entries from a number of categories, which will be matted and hung for the display.   Other entries will be available to view on a digital display at the show.
