Joseph Holmes Featured Soloist in Polymnia Concert

Wakefield resident Joseph Holmes will be a soloist as Polymnia Choral Society performs the Mozart Requiem Saturday, March 8, at 7:30 pm at St. Mary’s, 46 Myrtle Street in Melrose. The chorus will also premier As If, a lyric work by internationally known composer Demetrius Spaneas.

Other soloists for the Requiem will be popular local favorites Adriana Repetto, Eileen Christiansen, and Dana Whiteside.  A professional orchestra will accompany the chorus. Polymnia’s new chorus-within-a-chorus, the Chamber Choir, will perform Beethoven’s Elegiac Song for chorus and strings.
