The totally updated kitchen will feature a brick oven and state-of-the art equipment and amenities, while the dining room and lounge will be expanded and completely updated to create a warm, welcoming and friendly environment.

“We have a beautiful palette to work with,” he added. “We’ll be capitalizing on the panoramic views of the golf course and the serenity of our surroundings. We want everyone to be comfortable, whether they’re meeting up with friends after a round of golf, having a special dinner date, relaxing with the family, or simply craving great food at an affordable price!”

The patio area will also be updated to welcome lunch and dinner guests during the spring and summer months.

In addition to bringing back the popular Thursday-night prime rib dinner, Holloway will be introducing some new touches to the menu that are sure to please all palates. His extensive menu will include top quality meat and seafood entrees, chef specials, hearty appetizers and desserts. In addition to the culinary delights he will be creating, customers will also enjoy some of the old favorites that Holloway plans to bring back to the restaurant.

“I had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people while at the Georgetown Club and getting to know what the customers want – great food, a relaxed atmosphere and a trained, courteous staff. I think they will find all that and more at Holloway’s Bar and Grille.”

A graduate of Essex Agricultural Institute, James Holloway worked as a line cook at the Georgetown Club, working his way up to Head Chef before becoming a sous chef for Legal Seafood. He became the Executive Chef at the Bear Hill Golf Club in 2006.

“I look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new customers when Holloway’s Bar and Grille opens in the spring!” Holloway concluded.

Holloway’s Bar and Grille, formerly Keon’s Grille, is conveniently located at 258 Andover Street in Georgetown. Holloway’s will be open for lunch and dinner, Tuesday through Sunday. For additional information call 978-352-2900.
