Boys & Girls Club to Host Open Park Program Again This Summer

The Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield will again host the Open Park Program this summer for Wakefield residents sponsored by The Savings Bank. This year the program will run at the Moulton and Mapleway Playgrounds.  The program will run from 9:30am-11:30am and 12:30pm-3:30pm Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

The program is open to Wakefield residents ages 7-13 and will feature playground games, arts and crafts and more. “We are excited to expand our successful Open Park program to two playgrounds this year. This program would not be possible without the assistance of the Wakefield Recreation Commission and the generosity of The Savings Bank, said Boys & Girls Club Executive Director Gerry DeViller.

“The Savings Bank is happy to continue its support of the Boys & Girls Club of Wakefield.  We believed in the mission when we joined the 2012 Club as the staff was gearing up to open the Club in Wakefield and are excited about the program’s continued expansion of the summer program”, stated SVP Marketing, Raichelle Kallery
